Ohms??

Does anyone knoe how to tell how many ohms your system is?? All I Know is the less ohms the better, any help??

You wanna get close to zero on the electronic usually if not 0 then an open connection thats what i learned in electronics class. Theres also a ohm calculator but i never learned it jist copied off the guy nex to me lol

I too run my 4 subs at 1ohm.
Ive always tried to go with the absolute lowest ohm load my stereo would allow.
However: I've known some that do this and end up damaging some of their components. Ie. drivers and amps

Lots of cheap amps aren't 1 ohm stable or people using the wrong type of amp.

Lower ohms doesn't mean it's better. Lower ohms means Ot takes less power to get louder. If that makes any sense to you. There are plenty of subs and amps that are 2 ohm stable that kick a$$ as well. Really depends on what you are looking to do at the end of the day.

Im running one ten, dual voicecoil, I don't know how many ohms they are, its a Punch P3, a couple of years old...
