I do not have any Range AFM, however if you ever have a warranty claim, make sure no one knows about that aftermarket device (I inspect warranty claims daily!)I'm right there with you. I have a Range AFM in my Denali and also change out the oil at 5K miles with a bottle of Rislone. I have an extended warranty on the truck too, but I'm a firm believer in over maintaining my rides.
The quote I was referencing was for the Vice Grip Garage fans. That feller cracks me up.
I was going to say that I thought it is excessive for oil consumption, considering that none of it is condensation/water/milkshake. This 0w20 oil is as thin as water. I'm thinking next time I'm going to use 5w30 from here on out. That is inline with what mine catches, 2019 Suburban 5.3. I run a large can mounted off the radiator core support. I will get the milkshake in the winter months here in Illinois.
