Oil change question

just sharing the information i have gained over the years... hasnt failed me yet, and about 5 3/4" quarts seems to read perfectly on my dipstick.

what you say might be true (or what the manual says might be true). I wont refute, like i said, just sharing my previously found information

Read ANY manufacturer's manual.......oil should be checked at operating temperature.

But like spinners, underchassis neon lights, ugly ****** wheels etc...to each his own...if it works for you, fly with it.....
