oil cooler line concerns from other posts

Man I just found out that it was my oil cooler on the radiator all this time. Went to the junkyard and got a new out of a two door. Going out Saturday to get odds and ends too. Man these 2 doors are hard to find

i am sorry, a new oil cooler that was on a radiator at a junkyard? and why do you think it has to be from a 2dr vehicle?

No i just lucked up on a 2 door. I got the leather seats. Then I saw the radiator and compressor. Found the leak and I pumped freon into the compressor last week and the clutch had to be jumped on and the freon leaked out

Yeah Dude its still freon in the system but the compressor wasn't working so I will pump down and install the other compressor. All most ready for the heat. :Think:

So I am now replacing these lines on my 99 Tahoe and actually the upper one is the only one leaking, but thought since I am replacing the radiator might as well do both. Are these quick disconnects at the oil filter adapter? I do not see any clips. I did get new fittings for the adapter. I am guessing I can just unscrew the fitting and hose at one time and replace the new fitting. Do I need to use Teflon on the threads or not?
