Hello,

I am assuming I made a mistake with Amazon and rushing when doing my own oil change on a 2015 Tahoe LTZ. I purchased a WIX 57060XP online on Amazon (it said it was a correct fitment) and ended up rushing and doing a quick oil change at home...after the fact I realized my previous filter was a different longer WIX filter. I am a little confused because looking at Orielly's & Rock Auto online, they say the WiX 57060XP filter is not compatible, but it is with a 2014 & previous Tahoe. The filter screwed on fine to my 2015 LTZ with no leaks so far at idle and holding a high RPM in the driveway. So I need to change it ASAP, or are the websites not updated?

WIX WL10255XP is what the 2015 Tahoe calls for at RA and the 2014 WIX is a 57060XP. They may both spin on fine but there is a difference for whatever reason.

When you compare the pics, the WL10255XP is obviously longer than the 57060XP but they look to be the same diameter and seal placement looks the same.

I'd like to thank you all for a quick helping response..as I also learned, don't put all your trust is Amazon lol
A lot of times I input my 2014 Yuk as a 2013 model because 2014 was the NEW
year for the trucks, but the suv's held on for 2014 as the older generation.
I "think" the diff in filters is because the the newer LT engines use a different
type of oil pump.. It's a variable pressure/volume pump whereas our older
LS based engines use a constant type oil pump.

I'd change the filter out as soon as you get a chance...
57045 is also a suitable replacement for the 57060 and it's
a little larger.. I've been using them on the 6.2/5.3 for several years now
