I tried every removal tool to get this SOB off, and it still seems stuck, Has anyone had this problem before, and if so how did they get theirs off? I'm afraid if i keep using the end cap wrench tool it'll just twist half of it off and i'll be stuck with a mangled filter.. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried a web strap style filter wrench? It will crush the filter a bit but works better imo

Screw driver sounds good! It's gonna be a ***** to get the leverage to swing the hammer and hit the SOB in there but once it's in i hope it works! Thanks!

I know this will sound dumb, but make sure you're trying to spin it the right way. I wrestled with a filter last summer only to find I was tightening it!! Some wrestling in the RIGHT direction and it came off finally, after a lot of cussing.
