Oil leak?

we understand that part. what we want to know is where is the plug with the oring? lower left face of the block?

i have the cooler and lines on my denali. i think all 6.0 trucks have it. maybe all the 5.3 truck with towing package.

You can get them at most autoparts stores. They're the green ones, that they usually keep in their assortment for air conditioning o-rings and seals. Sorry, I didn't get the size. Since the one on our truck was leaking, I already pulled it out, and headed to the parts store with the o-ring and plug.

We now have almost a year of nearly-daily-driving this thing, with no issues there.

A parts store should just be able to look it up by application. You can look it up at Rock Auto.

hopefully it's that easy. the LS2s had an issue with blowing out rear main seals due to crappy PCV setups. luckily, mine held out long enough in my GTO for the clutch to need replacing too.

Same leak here (i think). It leaks pretty badly. I just pulled my oil cooler port cap off. (No cooler unfortunately).

The gasket looks fine, so I'm hoping this is where it is leaking. Thoughts?

Right stuff gasket sealer? I've had excellent results with it.

Just ran across a receipt from the PO. This gasket was replaced at 136k miles (184k now).

I just got the same gasket for mine. Will oil come flashing out when I pull the cover off?
