Mostly goes by miles. Take the 3200 miles on yours and see what 3200 is 54% of. I'm no math whiz but I'd say it's around 7000 miles which is close to what my owners manual says. I try to follow the manual. They set the frequency for a reason. Also keep receipts in case you have an issue and you need to prove you did your part.

Glad to help. Take care of that truck and you'll be amazed how reliable they are. I use the cheapest OnStar subscription, I think less than $10 month and get the reminders for all services needed from rear diff to air filters and if I'm locked out they open remotely. I had to use it dang dogs locked me out with it running. Good luck

Thanks for the info on OnStar..Had no idea I can get that low rate for all those reminders..I will get that as my feebie for it is about up.

Good choice. No one uses the in car gps anyway or the built in onstar phone.
