So I'm getting ready to do my tune up, and thinking about replacing the oil pan gasket. Was wondering what's the easiest way to do? Any tricks n tips!

My '02 Hoe 4x2 was pretty straight forward. 4x4 I've read are more involved dealing with transaxle. Is there a reason why oil pan gasket is needed? If you're in there, I would suggest replacing pickup tube O ring.

Yeah I believe it is leaking. But first I gonna do the valve cover gaskets. I had to take it in to the dealership to get the oil changed when I didn't have time to do it myself and they said that the oil pan was leaking to. Its not that bad. If I don't drive it for a couple of days there might be a quarter to half dollar size oil spot on the floor. Not a puddle just a wet spot.

Valve cover gaskets are even easier. I bought the Felpro permadry set and they worked out perfect. Get the cover grommets too. I temoved the whole coil pack racks as one piece on both sides. Only extra stuff that's in the way that I recall, is the bracket for the oil dipstick tube that mounts onto the coil pack rack on the passenger side. Took me about to three hours taking my time to clean up both valve covers and a couple of breaks for coffee.
