I have a 2003 Yukon and when I start it, the oil pressure guage goes to 80# right away and stays there. Would that mean the sender is bad or the guage or what? The Yukon has 78K miles on it and runs great.

It is most likely the oil sending switch had the same problem oil pressure gauge pegged out and thought it was cluster but after replacing that sending switch the problem went away....
