Hello everyone, just recently bought a 95 Chevy Tahoe LT on Sunday
And today my piston rod broke off from the head and tore a hole in the oil pan
I desperately need to fix it as I need a way to get to work
after fixing it though I think I’ll stay in here as it could be a useful resource

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

More pics of the truck, please, as it looks to be in excellent shape.

You are already receiving sage advice from the knowledgeable folks on this Forum.

A used motor to be installed by a local repair shop would be your fastest and cheapest way to resolution.

And, this IS the best information and advice Forum for these trucks.

Where did you buy it? Dealers usually have a short window of coverage i.e. 3000 miles or 30 days
