Took my daughter to a Christmas light show, toward the end I noticed the oil pressure gauge was slowly going down, engine runs great no weird sounds, hit the interstate it's still reading between 8-15, stopped at the store shut it down for a few minutes, it resets and back to normal, did great for 5 miles or so, then did the same thing again. Got home, runs perfect no weird sounds, waiting a few minutes and fired her up, back to normal. Could it be the sending unit or gauge?

My guess is the gauge. NBS gauges have known problems. Had a duramax that did the same thing. New cluster fixed the issue.

This morning I took my daughter to the ex's for her visitation, everything was fine, back to normal.
