I'm finding the truth that the gauges are just goddamn liars. Got my odb2 adapter and found that the temp guage shows 210, but its actually 195-198.....which aligns with some other comments I've seen here recently. Doesnt appear that I can pull the sensor data from the oil pressure sender in Torque, so thats a shame. That might really resolve my concerns about oil pressure.

The coolant temp is calibrated that way on purpose. My oil pressure and voltage more or less agree with the data seen on the Tech-2. Tech-2 being precise as it shows numbers and not needles.

Well, heh....I think I may have found a contributor and gained a few PSI. I was due to change again after my kreen run, and while I dont have the receipts stored to confirm...I want to say I've been putting in 5w-20. I saw on the cap today it likes 5w-30...and now after changing it again, I am running about 20 at idle, and 40 most of the rest of the time. I also ran a K&N filter this time. My mechanic suggested I get rid of the K&N that was on it when he had it back in January....so I trusted him and listed. Hey, I was desperate for some sort of plan of attack here.....well I had another K&N lying around so I used it. I'm also running a half quart of MMO as well, so I'm sure that's thinning it just a hair too.

My coolant temp runs 190°-192° consistently while the gauge shows 210°... this is normal for these trucks.

Also my oil pressure gauge works in the Torque Pro app... try these setting and see if it works for you...
