I don't think you are too far off from normal 6.2 pressures
But definitely need those DOD holes plugged.. The valley cover will NOT
seal them.. There is oil seeping/pushing out from there for sure..
I think just doing that will put you where you should be

Good to hear. That would make sense because colder oil is thick, so the o-rings may be sufficient. When the oil is hot and slippery I can see it creeping by at low rpm. I just ordered some from LSXacceleration and selected UPS this time.

^^ I just recently ordered some injectors from them. One of the most under rated LSX shops out there. Great prices and stupid fast shipping

I like it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haven't HAD to do this yet , but i'm sure i will in the future...
On somebody's rig anyway
I'm thinkin about "while I'm in there" , I'll do a DOD delete cam AND
a 3.90 stroke 404 CI stroker LS3 to go under my supercharger... Yeah, that's the ticket

I am running 5w-30 castrol magnetec. I ran 0w-40 for a bit and that idled at around 22-24 psi. I think I will run that for summer or the magnetec 10w-30.

Just ordered the DOD plugs, for the 2nd time. My original package said "delivered" but I never got it. TSP never responded to me. Fedex didn't seem to give a shit. I hate doing chargebacks since I am also a retail business owner, so I may just eat it.

Yeah paid $25 for the part and $15 to ship. It is what it is. They put the right address on it, so I am not going to make a big stink about it. It's really fedex's fault but they also don't give a shit.

What he says makes sense. I think @Geotrash found he could do it this way on his ride.

Yeah, still kicking myself for not plugging that dumb thing but at least it's good to see dropping the pan doesn't require dropping the diff.

I doubt the relief valve causes issues at idle though. I probably don't even have any issues and I am just chasing ghosts.
