Hey group, my oil pressure gauge was working normal then I noticed that it pegged all the way to 80 psi. The next day I started it and it went to zero so I am assuming the sender needs to be changed out. Will be doing this Monday afternoon. What I was wondering is do you leave that screen out when you change the sender or does it matter. 2007 Yukon Denali with the 6.2 and 215,000 on the clock. Thanks.

If it has one leave it out upon reassembly, you don’t have AFM so there shouldn’t be one in there…
Ok thank you very much for the response. I wasn't sure so that is why I asked. Going to try and do it without removing the manifold. My C6 corvette was a pain to do but I did it without too much trouble. Thanks again.
