If you have over 100k miles use 5 qt 10w40 castrol gtx with 1 qt lucas and with over 150k miles use GTX 20w50 5 qt and 1 lucas and change them at 3000 miles and guarantee u get 500k miles on this ls engine my 2004 silverado with lm7 5.3 is approaching 438k miles using this oil
