I had smoke rolling while driving. stopped and crawled under and an oil waterfall was coming out around the rear of engine and all around the transmission housing at the front of the transmission. was told it could be the oil coolant line or the oil pressure sender line/ sensor. havent been able to find the oil pressure sender line online. i suspect the rear main but it was recently replaced with a transmission rebuild from a reputable shop.

Oil pressure sending unit is on top of the block at the rear. Where its been for over 50 years on the SBC. :p

If you are 100% sure its oil and not tranny fluid then I would suspect the rear main that was replaced was not replaced very well.
It was the sender unit.
