Hopefully you guys find soft rocks to throw, but another new guy wondering about mileage.

I've given up on finding a sub or even low $20k Yukon XL Denali with less than 100k mi. I'm learning how naive I was when I first started looking at these.

So with that in mind, and doing a bit of reading around here, higher mileage doesn't scare me too much. I'm jaded as I had a Ram SRT-10 that needed a new tranny at 63K and then I had a motor fail at 93K. All my other vehicles except for a 92 Silverado have all been Hondas or Toyotas and have served me well.

I found an 07' Denali XL, with 173k on it, but the motor was replaced at 110K. So assuming the other usual components (compressor, shocks, windows) have been taken care of, is it safe to assume the vehicle should be relatively trouble free? They're asking $13K. I'll be calling the owners tomorrow to ask some more questions.

Besides that one I stumbled across, I've accepted that over 100k isn't too big a deal as long as it has been taken care of, kind of a no brainier.

I'm trying to strike a good balance between needs and wants for the new family hauler. Mileage is also a concern since we do a bit of traveling, some in the mountains of Va (military family).

Edit: and mods as the budget allows. But a CAI (just for some more sound out of the 6.2), tune and exhaust. Just to cover the basics.
Edit 2: after looking at the pricing, the Escalade ESV is also an option, and the dual DVD is a nice selling point.

I can't wait to be able to pick one of these up and ditch the mini-Van.

Thanks for any insight!
