I think I'm going to go kicker(hate on me all you want but i get this crap super cheap off so save your whinig) this time around and here was a few options i was looking at:

2 Kicker CVX 12's (1500RMS) -all combined
2 Kicker CVX 15's (2000RMS)
2 Kicker L7 12's (1500RMS)
2 Kicker L7 15's (2000RMS)
1 Kicker SoloX 12 (2500RMS)

2 (or 3)Alpine Type R 12's (1200-1800RMS)

A custom box will be built for the R's, CVX's, or either 15's. I would get the pre-fab loaded Kicker box if I went with the 2 L7 12's.

I really want the Alpine M-2000 but I can't get it cheap ):

I really really really want my Alpine Type X 12's I had in my Silverado back, but how would these subs compare to CVX's?

I had L7's before, but they were the 05 model before they were redesigned and i really didn't like em. I listen to ALL kinds of music. Acoustic, screamo, rock, alternative, pop, R&B, blues, rap, country, etc.

One more question, is it true that circular subs have better sound quality compared to square subs?

Look at the solo classics, I love my 12s and they take up very little area in the back. I'm running a 1000.1 on them and they are plenty loud for what I need, sets off alarms and hits quick. They're some of the best subs I've ever owned and sound awesome.

if you want small sealed, good SQ, the Solo Classics would be good. The CVX is similar, but for a good Q, they need a slightly larger box, like Solo Classic .88 vs. 12" CVX 1.25. So minimal.

wow, 05 L7's , theyhave been really changed since then...

I don't care about room. I will have no 3rd row so I don't care. Soloclassics are better than cvr's and not as good as cvx 's right?

Classics sound better if you're doing sealed, if you want big spl do some ported cvxs. My solo classics sound better than sealed cvxs and seem to hit quicker but that is probably due to the smaller enclosure.
