Okay what is that red wheel hooked up to? :)

A big ole 12vve Cummins Brodozer owned by my powder coat buddy.
This is the only pic I have of it.

I do! IIRC, pump and harness should be all I need. I might need the output shaft- something about splines for the OSS. But, I can't guarantee my "classic" '07 pump is any good if you're wanting it in trade. @pwtr02ss, can I tell by looking at it if it's any good?
The trans was bought as a core to be fully rebuilt. I bought it for $100- wanna trade the whole trans? I don't know when I'll be back down your way, though. We'd like to make a summer trip back to Tampa.

Dont really want to trade straight up because this trans was built with "A bunch of good parts" and knowing him he spent a pretty penny on the parts and then paid a degenerate to build it and they probably messed up on the install. So I'm hoping to salvage a bunch of parts.

I'd be down to trade whatever parts tho, obviously I wouldn't be able to use pump anyway in this Tahoe if I'm understanding @pwtr02ss correctly. Btw it is out of an 07 NNBS ltz 2wd avalanche. I'll have it home and likely broken down Friday.

you will have to disassemble the pump to see if it's any good. Inspect bushings and wear from the rotor surfaces. Minor scratches are fine. Just not big enough to catch your fingernail on. @Dantheman1540 if you're going for the full tear down...

That looks like something kinky, ordered and on the way :D.

Yeah I might as well do a full tear down. The only thing I'm not sure about for this turd is what torque converter he wants to go with or if he just wants to flush and cross his finger.

Rode this thing around all evening doing some firearms training, It has really intensified my want for a wrecked or beaten 05-06 Z71 to keep as a big golf cart. If I can nail down this tranny rebuild thing I can open my search up to one with no tranny. Come to think of it I would only need 1st and second for around the neighborhood anyway.

On another note, the suspension on this thing is worn slap out, hit a section of ruts and it kept bouncing like the suspension was a basketball.

Good deal. You won't realize how nice that ****** is. We started with some ******** $20 one from eBay...

You'll need to acquire a few more things but that will get you apart. I'm assuming you have duck bill pliers and snap ring pliers.

Those "cyclone" brand converters on eBay are like $150 or something. We had always bought from dacco in the past because they were local. Casey ordered the cyclone to test it out...its the same damn converter we had been getting for years. Dacco was bought out by transtar a few years ago and I guess they distribute the cyclone in a "transtar" box.

I also ordered a lip seal tool, some tack lube, and a 4l60 rebuild book just because I still like physical copies of stuff.

I will let him know about the converter for sure.

you can also buy these to save some headaches with using band clamps...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/203009481514?hash=item2f444edb2a:g:MEMAAOSwGzVfLNvw

https://transmissioncenter.net/shop/tool4l30e4l60e4l80eallison-harness-removal-teckpak/

this works great of you have a press...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2635839248...Zx_BZcx-qQF2oB0wAvT9xeDctTgYokrYaAs23EALw_wcB

And for when you get tired of wrestling that pos around on the bench...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/114170313384

Out of all the other tools I've bought for transmissions, that stand has probably been best one. Only took me doing three and half to spend the money.

Oh come on now you've really blown my budget up! I think I'll just wrestle the thing for starters. or Make some kinda of wood jig.

Those are just future suggestions:)

You can use a big band clamp to center the pump halves, and small clamp to get the harness out of the case. You'll see what I'm talking about once you get in to it.
