I have been searching the forums and online and found a lot of good information on this subject but it seems like everyones suv is different.....The Service Ride Control light came up on my 2004 Denali XL Now i have read that people have easy fixes like leakes all the way to full replacement of compressor and shocks...My question is if i am doing a 2/3 lowering kit and 24s on it am i going to be disengaging the autoride? Will it be disconnected due to the lowering? I don't tow anything with my denali and don't plan on it... any info helps thanks!

to remove the autoride you will have to install normal socks on it and i would just remove the fuse for the compressor and the leveling rods that are connected to the control arms

i would do this check list

-connecter going to compressor
-the ground wire is good on the wiring harness to the compressor
-the switch that controls when to shut the compressor off and on its what the leveling rods are connected to

with a 2/3 you keep your autoride. You can disconnect it if you want simply disconnect the battery and pull the fuse and reconnect the battery so you wont get a error message.

pull the rtd fuse and your autoride light should go out and you can put whatever kit you want on it.
