OOOOOPS I broke the mirror

Damn- Im in a loaner Tahoe 09 POS Extremely dirty/stained inside, dents and scrapes all over the exterior. makes some odd noises in the engine area. the passenger mirror has been hit and is held together by electrical tape.

But heck its a loaner car. Im OK

Today Im backing out of my garage and I misjudge the clearance and nick the broken passenger mirror. enough for it to pop the top painted cover off and I back over it.

So I put what remains of it back together and re apply new tape.

Im sure I will have to replace the mirror or that cover. This sucks!

This just reminded me that my mom scraped my driver's side mirror on a pole at the bank last week.

I guess it's okay, I mean she was driving my Tahoe because I hit a deer with her Escalade.

It SUCKS. Escalade will be fixed this weekend, it only damaged the front bumper cover and left side fog/turn signal assembly. The mirror cover damage is very minor, so I'm not concerned about it. I've got like 3 or 4 spare black GMT900 mirrors in my garage - two Escalade, and two DL3 Tahoe/Yukon ones.

Just dropped it off at the dealer and they were really Kool about the whole thing. They said what ever the cheapest rout for me is.

So I bought some Chrome Mirror Covers on Ebay for $50 and they will install them.

Im out cheap and they got a free upgrade.

If your mirror is totally cracked then you should change your mirror. You have some problems. Don't worry all are solve easily.
