@Red Rocket , I love the look of your front end. My 2006 is almost the same color as your Denali. I was thinking of color matching outer ring of chrome around the edges to my color like yours but leaving the honeycomb chrome. Thoughts? If i do that than I'd also have to satisfy my OCD and color match the denalidownunder grille I finally got a hold of as well haha. How hard was it to color match the chrome grille piece?
I experimented with trying to remove the chrome so it would be bare plastic but after trying everything and every trick I read about as well as talking to chrome shops all I managed to do was ruin my stock grill so I bought a new one, went back to my body shop and they sanded the shit out of it and used self etching primer and adhesion promoter. He said he couldn't guarantee it but that he did all he could so time will tell. I kept my old one so if this one chips I'll have something to use while it gets touched up but hopefully it will last.

I was thinking about ordering a new one off of eBay as well and then just taking the new one to the body shop to see what he could do with it here. Thanks for the info that's good input!
