It's alright, I'm getting over it.

Tis the nature of retrofits, especially when you're trying something new and different. We were about 1/2 a cm from making the 460s work, but in retrofit terms that might as well be a mile.

FX-R is a good projector ... the waiting sucks but it is what it is.

My health is also pending a retrofit. :)

Sorry to hear about that Serge.
But it is like you said, whenever trying something new and different, it could go both ways.
The FX-R seems a very good alternative. Please post up some pics when all is said and done.

Well I couldn't stand the idea of not going with an oem projector this time around ... so a new setup has been born!

1. OEM RX-350 b-x projectors (clear lenses)
2. OEM AL Bosch ballasts, potted and boosted to 55W
3. OEM Philips DL-50 'fatboy' bulbs
4. Gatling shrouds

Soon I will feel better. :)
