When i bought my tahoe it came with the smoked IPCW upper quarter LED Brake lights. I never cared for them, and unfortunately I didn't get the stock appliques from the seller. The one thing I do like about the lights is the paint scheme, where instead of being colored matched white, only the top part is painted and the rest is black to look like the window wraps arond into the rear window.

I was able to purchase some stock appliques and they are going to be black. It would be easy for me to sand them down, tape the line and only paint the top white like i have on mine now.

What look do you think looks better. Stay with the paint scheme i have now, just on the stock appliques, or paint them the same color as the rest of the truck, which is how they come standard?

Here's a pic of the paint scheme im taking about that i have now

Here's a pic i found on my comp that shows the rear part of the appliques. Sorry, i don't have any pics with the top lit up, i actually have them unplugged. Never cared to use them, just bought the truck with them on. Maybe i could leave the top of the third brake light black to keep the flow of the black roof on top, and paint the sides and bottom of the brake light to flow with the white.

I like the color scheme you have now from the side shot. However it would be better to see multiple angles of the rear. But definitely looks different than painted to match. Also maybe paint the third brake to match the truck to give it that full wrap around look?

Here's the only other rear shot i have saved from a different angle. I was contemplating the 3rd brake light, but not sure since my whole roof is painted black, it might mess with the flow on top.

I like the scheme you have now. I say just leave them unplugged how it is and save the money you were going to use getting the stockers put back in.
Those IPCW lights are tacky. Don't know why they came out with that bs. Makes it look like that Cadillac wagon with that long ass tail lamp.

I didn't know the roof was black either. I would leave it just like it is then. Looks unique! +1 on the blacked out escalade third light. Overall very sick truck man!! :Handshake:

I got some stockers for a good price, pluse these never fit really tight. They are kinda loose when you touch them. I'd rather just get them off
