I have a 2006 Denali just cleared 100K haven't had any problems so far, only oil and fluid changes, one brake job (pads and surface rotors) and two tire changes. couple of door dings otherwise clean in and out. My son in law's dad has had 3 Denali's all cleared 150K no problems. Pretty rock solid platform based on what I've experienced.

Oops sorry don't know how I missed that. However I guess my bigger concern is with the 6.2 and the trans. I don't want to have problem after problem with this motor. I'm really familiar with the 5.3, not so much the 6.2.

I've got a 07 denali xl with the 6.2 and a 11 Sierra 2500 HD with a 6.0. Like the Denali way better as far as power and ride. Both have the 6 speed trany. As long as you keep the fluids check all around you'll be fine.

My '07 had 118k when I bought it and had been somewhat neglected. I've fixed a few non-major things, caught up on preventative maintenance, and it feels like a rig with half the mileage now.

These things will run forever if you maintain them properly. I wouldn't be scared of one with 170k, unless it's seriously beat up.
