Ordered a 25 with premium suspension and been lurking around regarding lifts/level kits.

Nothing over 3" - would like to retain parking garage accessibility.

Will probably keep 20" stock wheels/tires for quite sometime.

I saw a few comments about ball joint issues.

I dont want to induce any issues - just a throw it on and never have to deal with it again.

Thoughts?

Stay with 2" lift like the kit GM sells with the new struts and CV axles or the cheap level.

3 inch suspension lift starts to make the angles of the suspension and drive components wonky and really need to go to 4 inches or more with drop brackets to make it reliable. Of course then you need larger tires and that exceeds what you are looking for.

This kit is basically an AT4 or Z71 upgrade. I "think" it also includes new rear spring packs.

Since you asked for thoughts:

Leave the suspension alone and do not modify it. GM engineers spend countless hours designing a vehicle’s suspension to handle and ride well.

Modifying the suspension can affect the vehicle’s ride and handling, the ABS system, the stability control system, and the automatic emergency braking.

What benefit will you gain by modifying and raising the vehicle?
