gears

i just got my truck back yesterday got 4.11s and its so much nicer not having to be on the gas at all to get going. still breaking them in so in about 500 miles ill get on it to see how they really feel. i did front and rears with motive gears and auburn limited slip.

gears went in tonight, still waiting on tune. what did you guys do for break-in?

500 miles of easyyyy driving. No getting on it till then. And at 500 miles change the fluid and check over everything to make sure its all good.

I did the easy break in, but didnt change fluid...a GM tech installed mine, and when I asked him about that, he said he wouldnt worry about it. "There is new gears in brand new trucks and they dont change fluid after 500 miles."

hmm thats weird Blue. better safe then sorry, also Eaton and the Yukon gears suggested to change it soon after the install.

I know, weird how they say do it, some do, some dont....I didnt cause of what my tech said, but if someone is worried, by all means.
