Just ordered the 2" zone body lift. My 3.5 rough country leveling kit and 35s came in last week. I should have it all installed by late next week. Will post pics when done. Let me know if anyone has some good info on how to install a BL.

Nice.

Concerning the BL, I would have a couple of jacks, some blocks of wood, and a buddy or two along with some basic tools. You will need a die grinder/angle grinder or whatever you prefer to cut the stock mounts off of the rear bumper. One thing that I do when I do a BL is to use lock tite when re-installing any bolts (just for peace of mind). Everything you need will be listed in the install manual. Just take your time and follow the instructions.

Going to have the rear bumper welded and just flip the tow hooks on the front. Guy on GMFS already did a BL on his nnbs Tahoe and is helping me out a little

I haven't looked at how it is mounted but it will have to be raised 2". I would be a little nervous about that.

SW CT,
The Zone kit should come with new bumper brackets that raise the hitch/bumper up 2". From what I have read the brackets are thicker than stock and use either grade 5 or 8 bolts...you could also run a bead around it for extra peace of mind.

DNW.

Why not just spend the little extra and suspension lift it? I installed a body lift once for a friend but would never run one myself.
