I paid in full on 11/1. Supposedly my Tahoe is built but it's sitting in Midlothian with no ETA. Did I make a mistake?
I’m surprised the dealer can charge you for a product that 1) hasn’t been put into the dealer’s inventory and 2) can’t be released from the dealer inventory.

November 11 is the start time…..If you get it on or before Jan 11th that’s=t is a feat and if they hold your trade value even better. I am not sure of all dealers but most wont even get appraisal or credit app until either on property or a very narrow window of ETA.

If you put your order in November/December with the expected 12-16 week time frame. Then…Save the X-mats Bonus and file Taxes early……unless you owe…. Tax return could be a decent down payment and or accessories fund.

Ya, I don't think 1/11 will happen, I'll be happy with 2/11 though.

I had a guarantee trade as I had 2 vehicles and didn't need 2, so the first one (2021 Jeep Gladiator Diesel) was traded in (for what I paid) when I ordered the Tahoe. (my reasoning was it was just sitting and it's value would only go down, so it went bye-bye).

Exactly! I did get it though. I'm calling it a Christmas miracle. I emailed the GM Tuesday for the VIN so I could track it and he told me it was in (when were they planning on telling me?). They brought it to me that night.
