Well as it states, I ended up selling the wife's 08 Denali with 80K and it's looking like we will be stepping up to a 12 Escalade Premium.

For you "Eske" owners, anything to look for and any advice for a newb on these??????

Pretty much same thin as the Denali except new one should have Bluetooth and cooled seats. Maintenance/problem wise I can't think of anything different on the escalade from the Denali. Only difference is the ecm flash. Look for basics tires, breaks, rust, leaks, weird noises, front end play, etc...

You'll enjoy more horsepower and larger screens. Otherwise I think they're the same.

Check motor mounts, leaking shocks, suspension vibration, excessive compressor runs, and shifts.

Otherwise there will be small issues such as heated seat failure (burned wire) that you can fix easily.

The Yukon Denali shares the same 6.2L engine and ratings as the Cadillac Escalade.
They do share the same drive train but the 2012 Eski I got is rated at more HP then then 08 Denali we had. 380 to 404 I believe.

So far so good, definitely like this newer Eski !!!!
