I picked up the outer window seals from LMC awhile back did all four doors but back when it was 100+ degrees for a few weeks the heat kinda messed up the seals there all wavy and basically shot, the front ones were the same material as the original ones were the back ones were not more of a hard plastic the original ones weren't so picked all four up from the local Chevy dealer were not alot more than the LMC ones were but they are closer to the original ones than the LMC ones were so shouldn't have any problems with the heat or anything else, my question is to replace them all you do is pull the old ones off and snap the new ones on? don't need to use any adhesive? the guy I talked to at the Chevy dealer said just snap them on and your good to go, just want to make sure that is the case before I go and put them on

i though they snapped on too.

that front ones you do have to remove the trim panel to get to them cause you need to get the mirror off to make it easier, but the back door you just pop them off and throw the new ones on? cause those I don't really see it mattering if you don't take the trim panel off cause even with it off the glass doesn't go down all the way so its not like your gaining anything

unknown at this time.
the way i read it the most inner piece is part of the door liner. that keeps debris from falling in the door. afterwards the one on either side of glass do the window guide, squeegee, wiping effect. and those snap out.

How much were the new ones?? I need a few for my trucks

But yea take off the mirror or just the bottom 2 bolts of the mirror for some wiggle room and snap them on.. no adhesive, maybe some grease since the doors like to rot under those

well if you get all 4 from LMC it comes out to like 80 bucks plus shipping so your looking at or around 100 shipped, I will get some pics of the ones I from LMC before I take them off I am thinking that heat we had messed them up and there not exactly the same material as the original ones were, the ones from the dealer out the door with tax were 147 and change its a lil more but a better quality imo and are more like the original ones were
