Over heat while driving rad or hose ??

what is the code? and what do you mean it wont clear the code?, what scanner did you rent?

One from AutoZone innavo 3100. Pass lock went went away and check engine light came on and the scanner said there were emissions codes stored but wouldn't show them or clear them . Towed to the dealer down here in cape May. Not sure what would cause the light other than what might have gotten sprayed with coolant .

Make sure the fans are turning on.

Fans were on and working well. Lower clamp was set of lock mode and was never really putting any pressure on it to seal. Leaked all out just randomly

It's odd that it wouldn't even attempt to start and check engine light stayed illuminated and scanner said emissions codes. Unless the starter is fried but I high doubt that it gave the gohst because of two starts 3 minutes apart.

Dealer called and found coolant leaked all over started and shorted it out , main fuse blown as well.

Truck will be done by noon today
