overdrive transmission problem?

i just installed a rebuilt transmission in my 99 tahoe and i can't get it to shift into the last gear it shifts fine through the first 3 but no last gear? any ideas?

This is for a "No 3-4 Shift, Slips or Rough 3-4 Shift" on 4l60e.

so i don't know what alot of those things are on the list is there anything external that could be the problem from when i installed it or does the problem have to be inside the transmission

It shifts thru the gears when in D?? Just not into 4th??

yep shifts through the first 3 fine but never goes into 4th

unless you can extract a code to get a clue but if there is not one there then most likely it is internal.
