I found a stock overhead DVD player on Ebay for $125. The only thing is, it says that it's for a Yukon Denali with a sunroof. My Yukon doesn't have a sunroof....will it still work?

There is a difference. one WITH a sunroof, the DVD player and screen are side by side, giving it a shorter, but wider footprint on the headliner (to accomodate the sunroof). A system in a truck WITHOUT a sunroof has the DVD player and screen monted inline with each other, giving it a narrow and long footprint, stretching further forward where the sunroof would be. Also take note that any DVD sytem from a 2003 or newer will NOT work in a 2002 or older, no matter how many people tell you it will. And even when adding a stock 03+DVD to another 03+ truck, reprogramming of the BCM by a dealer is needed for it to work.

Scottyboy Question

Hey Scottyboy, are you saying that if I replace the defective stock panasonic drop down DVD player in my 2004 Yukon XL w/ the exact model dvd player, that I will have to get the BCM reprogrammed by a dealer??? Thanks.
