Overhead monitor w/gaming console question.

Starting to do some research on overhead monitors with probably a xbox as the gaming console. Question is to who have done the console did you hardwire or install a power inverter? This is the monitor I'm looking at but open to other opinions. Thanks.

me and my brother stuck a ps3 in his colorado, we put an inverter in to plug into
