I agree, "TACKEY". I have one from an older truck that I slipped it in. I was not happy with the plastic bag either. I keep my manuals in my vehicles so a nice pouch would be appreciated, especially, as other people have stated, on GMC's highest cost vehicle.

My '15 LTZ also came with the manual in a clear plastic bag. I'm making a special trip back to the dealer to lift the one from the '13 LTZ I traded.

Told him I was coming for it and he stated 'we get that a lot'. Cannot believe Chevrolet would be that cheap and tacky . . .

I just put mine into an old case I have laying around from my 2012 Ford Flex. I figure if Chevy isn't willing to give me a $10 case, I'll rock the competitions case instead.

I want a case so the manuals are somewhat protected from all the crap my wife throws in the glovebox...and so that my Registration and Insurance and safety inspection paperwork is all in 1 easy to locate spot

I've been hunting older ones on eBay that come with the last gen denali Manuals in them. I think they are still the same size. So that looks like the cheapest way to go.

With both chevy and GMC moving up market with interiors and general product it is a little ridiculous that they have decided to cost cut on this...

I wonder how we could go about contacting GM directly with our concern. I personally could not believe this. I just purchased a 2017 Tahoe (my 3rd Tahoe since 2003) and a plastic bag!! REALLY??? COME ON General Motors- you are better than this!! A $65k vehicle and this is where we cut costs. I went back to get mine out of my 2007 Tahoe and it had already been sold.
I personally think GM should supply or at least make them available at a very reasonable fee through the dealers.
