P0300 only when in tow/haul

If you have an aftermarket radio or remote starter / alarm you may have to pull those fuses. I know it works that way for programming modules.

Interesting. I don’t have anything aftermarket except a brake controller. I’ll try pulling that tomorrow and see if that helps.

Tried disconnecting the trailer brake controller which is the only aftermarket item I can find and still nothing - keeps booting me out of live capture data. A bit stumped and not sure what to try next. If the cam/crank sensors are out of sync or defective would I need to be able to do this relearn procedure if they are replaced? My assumption would be yes.
