P0307 and stability track errors are back…

my plugs and wires have ~20k on them.

Also getting the attached p0899 error

5+ yrs ago bought a Yukon and all eight of my plugs looked much worse (see pic). My piston rings were stuck in their piston grove. I did Technical Service Bulletin TSB 10-06-01-008M.

Installed catch can, AFM deflector, valve cover, did piston/combustion chamber soak. Oil consumption immediately went away and stayed away.

Man…
I don’t think mines there…?
And I don’t know if I would tackle that.
Thing has been paid off… I’d maybe just go get the new truck I’ve been saving for…

This is the new plug in 7, after ~ 2 hours. Looks bad already.. something definitely wrong.

if pulling the pan labor seems a bit more than the truck is worth, maybe just do a 30$ catch can and the stuff he let soak in the cyl to help unstick the oil ring, incase that's what's going on.

Sorry not totally clear.

@donjetman does your tutorial cover this portion? I can probably get this done if it will help.

I’m not sure you are at the point of needing to go spend a bunch of money on a different vehicle. A few rather simple steps can be taken that should give you a lot more life out of your current vehicle. Save your money, get a $30 catch can, soak the pistons, and buy a $110 valve cover and see what that gets you. That’s a lot less than a payment on a new vehicle.

Stabilitrac will shut down if it senses excess vibration and if the ABS system is wonky. I’ve had it kick off the stabilitrac system on a rough gravel road. A misfire might be just enough of an issue to trigger this, depending on how frequently it is misfiring.

What year is your vehicle?
I have a 08 Tahoe Ltz traction and stabilizer light on as well I already put new spot plugs wire steering wheel angle sensor throttle body change the gas pedal don't know what to do now anybody have an idea
