OK I know what it is, all vacumm lines seems to be in good working order, blew the line going from the canister to the purge valve and no charcoal came out so I am parting from the premise the canister is good, no gasoline smell coming from canister also, right now assumin purge valve is defective and planning on replacing shortly, should I change the vaccumm switch too????
by the way does any body have a vacumm diagramm for a 97 2dr yukon 4wd 5.7 vin r..... thanks...

Your GM parts place can get you a diagram of that, auto parts place might be able to also.

rgr on all.. found some diagrams.... but now I am stock.... My purge solenoid gets connected to the canister via some sensor or electronic valve right next to it.... they are connected by a rubber hose..... what is this sensor?? cannot find it anywhere....is driving me nuts.......
