Well I was 6 and 7 back then, I do remember some but not all. On the west coast of Florida is the Seminole Gulf Railway and they have day trips and dinners aboard the train as it moves up and down their line and we've done that over the years. There's a steam engine in operation somewhere in the Orlando area that does Civil War re-enactments, outlaws and indians also attack the train from horseback. Couple of years ago I took the family to visit The General in Kennesaw, Georgia. Still have not been down to the Gold Coast RR Museum or the local model rail club with their giant display just minutes away. Their hours are limited for visitors and I always forget.
