That's the 06 one. Some guys don't like the plastic at the top, but i put a smoked 3rd up there and think it looks awesome. Ties the two sides together.

I suppose I could have gone with the new version with the plastic cap on it.
Honestly did not even really look into it.
I was happy just to have it replaced. I do already have so much plastic trim on the truck being a Z71 that I didn't care if I didn't get it.
The Z71 GMT800s are like the Pontiac Aztec in a way lol
I would have certainly tried to upgrade to the newer version if the newer version had a different mounting system. It does not, the plastic piece on top is for show and does not change the hinge system that fails.

Thats why I DIDN’T go with the esky glass, my hinges were good and didn’t want to risk buying a glass with weak hinges.
