I tested the paint remover on the factory paint and it bubbled up the clear in less than 5 min

I did and it bubbled it up but didn’t make it any easier to remove.

Gotcha, looking closer at the pictures that you had posted of it peeling almost looks like they sanded the OE before applying the black.
