Finally found Spiral Grey Metallic in a rattle can at Autozone! No more black, non matching grille! Also rockin a few site decals now and did the 6 high mod!!! Today was a good day for the Dnasty!

What prep did you do to get that paint to stick to the aluminized ABS plastic(fake chrome in other words)??

Just cleaned it, then shot it with primer again over the black paint. Didn't want to try and scuff it up with all the holes. Figured it'd be a pain in the ass. Turned out great!

Yeah it looks good-hopefully it holds up-I shot one other grill and it started to chip and flake off easy---that is why i was asking.

I mostly just drive around town, maybe once or twice a month on the highway. I had to touch up the girlle a few times after just painting it black. Hoping it holds up now with even more paint on it! haha

I believe that is you start with a coat of adhesion promoter it should hold up pretty well.
