Painted interior trim

Got rid of that ugly a$$ fake wood and painted it flat brown. Started with a coating of black plasti-dip then finished it off with camo-brown plasti-dip. May not be for everyone but i like it way better.

Bro its super easy. All the trim is just clipped in. I watched a youtube video on how to remove it. The only piece that takes a little time is the trim on the armrest. The longest part is the painting.

Thanks...yea thats the only way i knew to describe it. I did one piece with the gloss but it looked cheesy so i redid it in the regular.

With black interior I think you should have painted it to match the silver accents. Not sure how flat brown ties into a black interior

I tried to match the air vents with a silver but it just looked really cheap.

I wonder how long that'll hold up, especially on the armrest area. I've seen interior plastic panels that have been sprayed/dyed which looks OK in the beginning but eventually flakes off. Never seems to last, although plastidipped seems much more durable then paint or dye. My grill has been dipped for over a year with decent results.

I had plastidip on the armrest pieces and it lasted about a year or so. Started to peel and I put about 4-5 coats on. I eventually took it off.
