So these are mesh grill inserts that came with the car when I bought it. The finish was coming off and I thought about re- chroming them. But I am not a huge fan of a lot of Chrome. So I opted for painting them black with paint from wal-mart. The paint i used is paint for repainting outdoor grills. I used this because it had more of a flat black to it, which I wanted, plus it is resistant to higher temperatures then just krylon.

What do you guys think?

Next is the bowtie...should I do black, chrome, or body color??

Looks good man! Turned out really nice. I think it'd look cool with a bowtie painted to match the body, or better yet, painted to match the body with black trim.

Since you stated you aren't a huge fan of chrome, I suggest painting the entire grille shell body color and then having the bowtie black or chrome.

And yes, if u couldn't tell from the pictures I am a car dealer. That aside tho, I don't know if I have enough ball$ to do the whole grill in the body color. By I have already purchased nnbs tahoe emblems including little gold bowties and the tahoe and LT. I have already debaged it. So I am leaning towards chrome or black for the grill bowtie.

Thank you. I like them a lot. I was gonna try and find some off a nnbs tahoe but a guy offered me cash on the spot for the eagle alloys that were on it. So I settled for these for $250 total with lugs, and caps, wrapped in some silent armors by Goodyear. Great tire. But so many wheel and tire guys suggest staying with the factory size wheel (16) and the nnbs wheels are a 17 inch. I have just heard this from guys who offroad a lot that if u aren't going to upgrade suspension, steering, braking, or towing....Simply leave The Hoe alone ;-)

I agree....

I honestly thought that the mesh looked good in either chrome or black,so either way is a win.

Again, bowtie would look cool in black or body color IMO.

I'd also like to see Police rims and center caps on it just for sh*ts :p

Nice truck my man! I like the looks of it and the nbs rims set it off. The mesh looks good painted black imo.

Couple questions that are off topic: Those fender flares aren't stock are they? If not what kind are they? And what kind of lift is on it? Body lift? Or is it a block in the rear and t bars cranked up front?
