I bought a role of the matte vinyl from shadowlinetrim.com

IM GOING TO BLACK OUT ALL CHROME ON MY 16 ESCALADE AND IM RUNNING INTO THE SAME ISSUE. I THINK IM GOING TO TEAR DOWN ALL OF THE TRIM, GRILL, REAR TRIM, ETC AND SEE ABOUT HYDRODIPPING IT. MY FRIEND OWNS A BODY SHOP AND HE SAID IF I WANTED TO PAINT IT, I COULD. IT WOULD JUST REQUIRE A GOOD SANDING AND PRIMING. IVE LOOKED INTO WRAPOING IT ALL TOO AND BECAUSE THE TRIM HAS SO MANY ANGLES AND SMALL PARTS, THE WRAP WOULDNT HOLD UP.

CLIFFS NOTES: HYDRODIPPING IS THE SAFE WAY BUT COST 2X AS MUCH AS PAINTING. BUT, PAINTING IS STILL A GOOD OPTION.
