How should I paint the GMC logo on my '05 Denali? Semi-gloss spraypaint or get it professionally painted? I'm going to tape off the chrome lining on the logo, of course.

Any recommendations from someone who has done it before?

It's black. Nice Denali btw, looks sweet with those wheels. I tend to like the factory 20" wheels for Denali's more than most aftermarket.

I had an 03 Sierra Denali, pewter color. I taped off the chrome and did a gloss black.

Heres another I found with a semi gloss.

Took me a couple hours from removal to re-install and i really took my time taping off the chrome.

How do you do that?

Just go to a sign shop and ask for some or their scraps. You can probably get it for free since they're going to throw it out anyways. Then cover the area you want to change and carefully cut out with a razor.

Thanks for the kind words..... I searched for about a month before I found this one. It is hard to find them with the 20's......

I'd say tape them off and hit them with Krylon Fusion. You will be happy. Taping them off takes longer then spraying them.

Just use some red 3M tape to re-install the rear badge and you will be golden ;)

here are mine. It looks so much better I think if you tape off the chrome like I did, yeah a little more work but way worth it. As for the rear badge, I just taped off everything. The rear is gloss black but the lighting from the picture makes it seem different.
