I'm going to finally paint my rear pillars once it stops raining. I'm not sure if I should paint the pillars black or body color though, and depending on what that decision comes to I may smoke my tails. So let me know what combination you think wold look best.
And after that if someone could give me the procedure for doing this correctly, you know sanding etc. I'd appreciate it. Also, I don't have a paint gun and don't want to by one.

Regarding procedure, you are welcome to ask me any question you damn please when I get going on my interior paint.

Right now, I'm at the beginning stage - I have to get the old, caked/baked in Armour-All off. I picked up some wax remover stuff from Autozone, can't remember the brand right now but it comes in a can like the metal acetone cans. I'm going to try this first, but my thought is to use a fine grain sandblast to take off a thin layer of plastic. That remains to be seen I guess as this is my first go at it. Beyond that, prep the plastic with SEM products and use an adhesion promoter and from everything I have read, you are in really good shape to keep that paint on your plastic for a long while.

And what color is your interior? I would think you probably want to use a color that compliments the interior, rather than match the exterior.

If you've ever applied any silicone based cleaner or dressing to it, you will need to spend more time cleaning/prepping it. Don't get it all off and you'll get fisheyes in the paint all day long

i painted my rear vent went to a auto paint store and
paid $ 17.00 for it. it is just the enamel paint not the

more costly paint that needs reducer & clear coats.
