Painting the pillars maybe smoking the tails

i painted my rear vent went to a auto paint store and
paid $ 17.00 for it. it is just the enamel paint not the

more costly paint that needs reducer & clear coats.

So it's rattle canned then?
Did you have to sand it before painting? Looks good and sounds good for 17 bucks, finally a mod I know I can afford :Handshake:

when i got my taillights smoked, i also painted the pillars with the smoke spray to give it a nice black glossy look, shines real nice!

Sand the pillar covers down with 400 scotch brite red pads, then use wax and grease remover on them to take off the dirty and other shit. Dry off. For the first coat hold the can like 15 inches away and just DUST it on the cover. You dont want it to heavy or else itll run right off and youll have to wipe that shit off.. 2nd coat, you can do a little heavier and get maybe 10inches away. id do about 4 good coats, but thats me.

They have those red pads at walmart, Murrays, anywhere pretty much. theres different colors and each of them have different grits.. :Handshake:

no problem.. when you have the covers off, make sure the black like inside the cover is nice and glossy. you can paint that, bcuz if you look through the vents on the covers, sometimes theres like ****** paint behind it

i had to use the spray gun to put it on and i cleaned the pillards then sprayed bulls adheasion on first then the paint.
